From the vault: jumping for joy

Speaking of playing air guitar on tennis rackets ... at our 6th grade talent show, back in 1984, the winning group performed a rousing lip-synced rendition of this Van Halen hit! I can still remember sitting in the cheering crowd, totally impressed by the energy on stage.

  1. Oh you are killing me with these memories! I always thought my sister was the VERY COOLEST in everything she did, but the absolutely most coolest (bad grammar and all) thing she did in the world was know the beginning to this song. Duh! Duh! Duh! Duh duh! duh duh, duh du du duh! She would play it on the piano and I would squeal ... Of course, we were no multi-talented Hill girls. She would play the first five (what's the right word?) bars/notes/thingys, and I would yell JUMP! and then ... we'd do it over again. You guys were probably already masters of all the songs in the hymnal ...
